Dalmatian Dream

>> THE SUN GOES DOWN ON THE DALMATIAN COAST <<

Descending over Dubrovnik, even at a glance you know its a magical place .. must be those red roofs! We couldn't wait to see what this place had in store!

For a one night stay in Dubrovnik we couldnt have picked a better location or hotel,  The Grand Villa Argentina exceeded all expectation, the perfect escape.. it mixes traditional luxury with regal charm..

The champange on arrival & panoramic views of the coast got us feeling giddy to explore the hotel and Dubrovnik itself ..

THE OLD TOWN

When I'm away, my favourite time is 'golden hour'.. everything looks enchanting, the perfect photography light, its romantic & the tan always looks better in this light .. right?! I don't know about you, but after a day in the sun, it's the time when I feel most sun-kissed and sexy!! Not to mention the heat from the sun drops off, so you can enjoy the moment, take in the atmosphere without feeling like a sweaty betty. What better time to go into the old town 'walk the wall' and meander the quaint streets and find a spot for dinner?!

Top Tip: when packing for a short trip to Dubrovnik all you need is a bikini/ one piece, some flat sandals, a long line floaty dress or skirt & cami, that can be taken from dusk into the evening effortlessly! Oh and a basket bag! I'm a sucker for neutrals and went for a cream linen, tortoise shell button up dress - easy breezy!

Dress: Cooperative by Urban Outfutters

Sandals: Nude leather - Jigsaw

Bag: Vintage 1970's market bag from Frome, UK

If you find yourself in Dubrovnik, there is a little bar nesteled amoungst the rocks on the edge of the old town called 'The Hole in the Wall' ... if there was ever a time for a cocktail and to look out and watch the ocean.. it's in this bar!
